Macro Workshop
Karen teaches the workshop
The regular Group meeting at The Midleton Park Hotel on Tuesday 8/10/13 was a Macro Photography Workshop by Karen Fleming.
Karen went through the genre, from the basics to the advanced and had macro lenses, extension tubes and reversing adapters for both Nikon and Canon as well as a selection of subjects from spanners to tiny (dead!) bugs for the members to practice on.
Once a brief PowerPoint lesson was over, it was straight into the practical. With two tables set up, the four corners of each were quickly occupied with members vying for space to shoot. Some great images were made and the gear nearly had to be prised from the hands of some of the more eager members who would’ve happily stayed shooting into the early hours!

Adobe has announced that 2.9 million customers’ details including credit/debit card details have been stolen in a sophisticated on-line attack.
If you have an account with Adobe, now would be a good time to change and strengthen your password and monitor your bank account.
