Earlier today, the 100th post on this blog was published, a milestone that seemed very far off in the distance when the idea of a blog for the Group, to bring photography-related news and information to members of the Group and beyond, was mooted back in January of 2013 .
On 1/3/13, the first post about a Group ‘food’ competition appeared with a view to perhaps, publishing one post per week thereafter, if possible. Less than twelve months later and we have nearly doubled that expectation, which will probably be achieved and exceeded by the time 1/3/14 comes round.
As in any undertaking, its success is down to many. Thanks to all the contributors, all the readers and all who have supported the blog over the past twelve months.
Roll on milestone number 200!!
UK-based photographer, retoucher and trainer, Glyn Dewis recently took delivery of an Alumini print and canvas print which he ordered a few days earlier from Loxley Colour in Glasgow. In the impromptu video below, Glyn, in a scene reminiscent of Christmas morning, practically tears through the packaging to get at the goodies inside. With his palpable enthusiasm and the obvious high quality of the finished products, I’m inclined to get an order in to Loxleys immediately – watch this space!
