Terry O'Neill's exhibition at the Wandesford Quay Gallery, Cork

Legendary photographer, Terry O'Neill, brought a major exhibition of his work to the Wandesford Quay Gallery and Cork City Hall in Cork City earlier this year.

He was present, in person, at the opening on 24th January, which was thronged to capacity. It was a homecoming of sorts for the celebrated photographer who spent holidays in his childhood in Cork, the birthplace of his father.

His iconic portraits hung on the walls of the gallery included those of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Marianne Faithfull, Michael Caine, Frank Sinatra, Ava Gardner, Paul Newman, Steve McQueen, Sean Connery, Lee Marvin, Richard Burton, Elizabeth Taylor, Mohammed Ali, Brigitte Bardot, David Bowie, Raquel Welch, Catherine Deneuve, Naomi Campbell, Amy Winehouse, Kate Moss and Bono. An absolute feast for the eyes.
